Licence availability problems on a client computer


Description

In Client/Server configuration, the Mediaplus client program indicates that there are no licences available.

Cause

1) Either, all the licenses have indeed been consumed, in which case you should order some more,
2) Or, there is a communications problem between the Mediaplus server and the ENI licence server


RÚsolution

1) To view the current status of your licenses account, visit the site: https://www.mediapluspro.net/licences/client
2) Ask all your users to stop working then restart the Eni Mediaplus service and check that the Server initialisation state is set to 1.

If the Server initialisation state is set to 1, there should be no more communications problems between the Mediaplus server and the ENI licence server. If the Server initialisation state shows another value, check the Application log for any errors concerning the Eni Mediaplus service and check the properties of this service to make sure that the account associated with this service has the necessary permissions both to start the service and freely to access the Internet.
